Rhino is synonymous with high-quality reissues, setting the standard with award-winning audio releases for the past 45 years. Now they're raising the bar with a new premium vinyl series, Rhino High Fidelity. These high-end, limited-edition vinyl reissues of classic albums represent the pinnacle of sound and packaging. To ensure consistent sonic excellence, Kevin Gray will cut lacquers for all Rhino Hi-Fi releases, and Optimal will press the 180-gram vinyl records. The releases boast high-quality glossy covers and "tip-on" jackets, an old-school aesthetic that evokes the golden age of vinyl. The fourth studio album by the Doors was released in 1969. Mostly recorded following a grueling tour leaving them no time to compose new material, producer Paul A. Rothchild recommended a departure from the Doors' first three albums. He urged them to develop a fuller sound by using brass and string arrangements provided by Paul Harris. Robby Krieger's creative output increased since Jim Morrison was focusing on his poetry and dealing with personal issues. The album peaked at #6 on the Billboard 20 and features the singles "Touch Me," "Wishful Sinful" and "Tell All the People."
