Record Store Day is an event celebrating independent record stores like ours. The main event takes place in April, with a second event, Record Store Day Black Friday, held the day after Thanksgiving. Both events feature exclusive, limited-edition releases, available only at participating independent record stores.

Nail City Record is an RSD Pledged Store. We participate in both events and do our best to stock as many releases as we can while making the shopping experience fair, fun, and organized for everyone.

Record Store Day Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026. Our store will open at 10 AM.

We use a numbered ticket system to help organize the line and manage the shopping process. More details about where to line up, how tickets will be distributed, and how customers will enter the store will be shared closer to the event.

All RSD Black Friday releases are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Yes. We will open at 10 AM on Friday, November 27, 2026, for RSD Black Friday.

The best time to line up can vary from year to year, depending on the releases people are looking for and how many copies are available.

In previous years, some customers have arrived the night before, while others have arrived early in the morning. Arriving earlier may improve your place in line, but it does not guarantee that a particular release will be available.

We will share any additional information about the line and ticket process for our new location closer to the event.

The official RSD Black Friday 2026 release list is available on this page. We have submitted our order, taking customer requests from our wishlist survey into consideration when selecting titles and quantities.

We do our best to order a wide selection of releases, but we cannot guarantee that every title will be available. Some releases are produced in limited quantities, and record stores may receive fewer copies than requested or none at all.

As we receive more information about our allocations and incoming stock, we will update this page with a list of confirmed releases.

Our wishlist survey for RSD Black Friday 2026 is now closed, and we have submitted our order. Thank you to everyone who shared their requests and helped us decide which titles and quantities to order.

For future Record Store Day events, we may share a wishlist survey after the official release list is announced. The ordering window is short, so we encourage customers to follow us on social media and sign up for our email newsletter to hear about future surveys.

Please note that wishlist requests help inform our ordering decisions but do not guarantee that we will receive a particular release.

We cannot accept pre-orders or hold RSD releases in advance. All releases are offered in-store on a first-come, first-served basis, in accordance with our Record Store Day pledge.

Any remaining releases will typically be listed on our website the following day, Saturday, November 28, at 8 AM Eastern, subject to availability. We will update this page with any changes to the online sales schedule.

Yes. Purchases are limited to one copy of each RSD release per customer. This policy helps give more customers an opportunity to purchase the titles they want.
