Each First Friday event will feature Nail City Record's new pop up shop, live performances by local and regional bands, a full cash bar, and delicious food from area favorites.

We are hosting an early listening party for the new Twenty One Pilots album on Saturday, September 6. Here’s everything you need to know:

Picture Disc Editions:

  • Available to pre-order in-store only during the event.
  • Limit of one of each variant per household (up to all 5 variants).
  • Orders placed on September 6 can be picked up on release day, Friday, September 12.
  • We’ll begin taking orders when we open at 11 AM, so you can enjoy the listening party when the album starts playing at 12 PM.

Other Formats:

  • Indie exclusive blue smoke vinyl, standard red vinyl, and CD are available for preorder now online or in-store.

Event Giveaways:

  • Free Breach Listening Event silicone wristbands and exclusive 11x17 posters for all attendees.

Red Velvet Debossed Sleeves:

  • These are not tied to the event. They are gifts with purchase, available first come, first served on release day (Sept 12) for in-store pickup orders. One per order/customer.

Pocket Vinyl Live at NCR Stage

You've never seen an act like Pocket Vinyl.

They're a duo consisting of a one-man-piano-band (Eric) coupled with a painter (Elizabeth), who creates a work of art on stage during the show. Every painting and show is unique. Between non-depressing songs about death and defiant melodies of hope, Eric's entertains the audience with emotional stories and hilarious anecdotes bordering on stand up comedy.

They've created a full length feature documentary (Drive. Play. Sleep.), having an ongoing autobiographical comic strip (The Touring Test), released over 10 albums and 200 songs, and have played nearly 1200 shows. Currently, they're working on releasing 4 cover albums throughout 2025.

There are few bands as eclectic, creative, and ambitious as Pocket Vinyl.

They're very much worth your time. Come to a show. Get a painting. Be a part of it all.
