We Buy Records, CDs & Music Collections

We buy and trade vinyl records, CDs, cassettes, and music-related items at our store in Wheeling, West Virginia. Whether you're clearing out a few items or selling an entire collection, we aim to make the process straightforward and fair.

What We Buy

We buy and trade:

  • Vinyl records, CDs and cassettes, across all genres.
  • Music-related items such as stereo equipment, turntables, band T-shirts, vintage posters, and memorabilia.

Condition is important. Items must be clean and free of mold, water damage, excessive scratches, or strong odors. Loose records without covers are generally not accepted.

How to Sell or Trade

You are welcome to bring your collection in any time during our regular business hours. While no appointment is necessary, giving us a heads-up is appreciated, especially for larger collections.

For large or significant collections, we may be able to schedule a house call, depending on the size and content. Please contact us to discuss.

We also offer:

  • Store credit if you would prefer to trade
  • Consignment for high-end or rare items, evaluated on a case-by-case basis
  • Appraisal services for estates, large collections or insurance purposes (an hourly rate applies)

We also welcome music-related donations in good condition, and are always grateful to give them a second life in the hands of other collectors.

FAQ

How much do you pay?

It depends on what you bring. Artist, title, condition, and current demand all play a role. We must see the items in person to provide an offer.

Do you buy everything you’re shown?

Not always. We’re selective based on condition, duplication, and current inventory. If we’re not able to buy something, we will do our best to advise you on alternatives.

Do you buy local or self-released albums?

We are open to stocking music by independent artists and bands. Reach out to discuss consignment or other opportunities.
