**UPDATE: Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19) Record Store Day has been postponed to June 20th 2020. Record Store Day has released the official list of limited edition vinyl, box sets and CDs that will be sold during the 2020 edition, taking place on Saturday, June 20th. In honor of Black history, we have compiled a list of 200 influential black musicians. The artists included in this list have in some way impacted history. Whether it be through the improvement of race relations, paving the way for other blacks in the music industry, or the development of new genres that have pushed music further– black musicians have been extremely important historically and culturally.
