Cult psych rock group Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats are on the loose again with their seventh and latest crime against music, Shapes Of Midnight, released on Killer Candy Records. Through tracking live to tape at the legendary Abbey Road Studios while using the finest 1960s EMI console technology, the band have perfected their "Evil Beatles" sound with 45 minutes of ragged downer rock. Combining down tuned, fuzzed out guitars with two part vocal harmonies, pop melodies and subversive paperback horror lyrics, the band have carved out their own unique sonic world, which continues to evolve.
