Shipping Policy

All transactions, including pre-orders items are charged at the point of purchase. 

In most cases, Nail City Record will ship orders within 1-3 business days after receiving purchase confirmation. Preorders will be shipped within 48 hours of the release date. Some exceptions may apply. Record Store Day, RSD Black Friday, and orders in December may take 3-4 days to process due to a higher volume of orders. 

Listed release dates for pre-orders come directly from the label, and are the current, expected release date. While we try to get orders out on the original listed street date, some titles may experience delays from the manufacture and/or the distributor. Nail City Record will ship orders within 48 hours of receiving product on any listing that experiences delays. Updates to the scheduled release date can be found on the product listing page.

Preferred shipping service can be selected during the checkout process. The cost of shipping is automatically calculated after selecting your preferred shipping service at checkout. 

All orders of $100 or more are eligible for free MEDIA MAIL shipping.

All coupons and discount codes MUST BE APPLIED BEFORE YOU COMPLETE THE CHECK OUT PROCESS. Coupons and discount codes CANNOT be applied retroactively.

All orders of $100 or more are insured for the value of the order.



For Pre-Order items, cancellations will only be accepted within 7 days of the original purchase date unless otherwise noted in the product description. All orders canceled after 7 days may be subject to a 10% processing fee.

Pre-Orders must be cancelled within 7 days of original order date in order to be eligible for a refund. Refunds can only be provided on unshipped items that do not include digital content.


Please do not request to cancel your Record Store Day Order. Due to the higher than average volume of orders on RSD, it may take an extra day to process your order than it normal would. If you request to cancel your RSD order before it ships, a 10% processing/ restocking fee will be assed. 


For returns or exchanges of shipped orders, Nail City Record customer service must be contacted within 14 days of the delivery date to initiate the return process. Shipped orders may be returned for store credit only. Items must be in original condition and are subject to inspection by Nail City Record staff before store credit is applied. Customer is responsible for all shipping and ancillary fees incurred with the return of items to Nail City Record

Orders damaged or lost in transit via Media Mail or USPS First Class International shipments MAY NOT BE ELLIGIBLE for full replacement, or refunds (although store credit may be applied). 

For all other inquiries, reports of damage must be made within 14 days of the delivery date. Requests made beyond the 14-day window are not eligible for refund or store credit. To request a refund for damaged items shipped please contact with your order number and a brief description of the issue, along with images of the damaged order. Please retain all outer packaging as well as the product itself until instructed further by Nail City Record customer service.
