WWVA has played a major role in the development of country music through the Jamboree shows and the economic growth of the city of Wheeling, attracting Country music fans from as far away as Canada. In this book, you can see many historic images of the WWVA radio station, Jamboree at the Capitol Theater and Jamboree in the Hills, along with a scrapbook of the countless country stars who have appeared. Also included are interviews with many of WWVA's personalities as well as singers like Brad Paisley who got his start at the Jamboree.
